times, different
committees have been
called into service.
STANDING
COMMITTEES
The ASSOCIATES
COMMITTEE mission is
to help provide
quality Associate
members for the benefit
of both the Regular
Members and the
Associate Members.
It serves as the
representative body for
vendor members and
develops and supports
the interactions between
Regular and Associate
members. The Associates
Committee meets
monthly in Schaumburg.

The AWARDS
COMMITTEE mission is
to encourage
participation in the
TOBY Award process for
both members and
potential members and to
provide recognition to
the owners and managers
of outstanding suburban
buildings. It
coordinates the annual

recognizes members for
service to the
association. The
committee meets as
needed in Schaumburg.

The EDUCATION
COMMITTEE mission is
to provide
educational and
designation courses and
curriculum to keep the
membership current and
trained in the
requirements of their
profession and
continually strive to
raise the level and

oversees study programs
and seminars, including
those offered by BOMI
International and BOMA
International and
sponsored by
BOMA/Suburban Chicago.
The Education Committee
meets six times a year
in Schaumburg.

COMMITTEE mission is
to provide
BOMA/Suburban Chicago
members with up-to-date
information on energy
services, products and
regulatory issues.
It examines and monitors
programs to provide
energy savings for BOMA
member properties. The

Schaumburg area and
other locations.

COMMITTEE plans
programs and events for
engineers from
BOMA/Suburban Chicago
member buildings,
including the bimonthly
engineers breakfasts
where engineers have an
opportunity to exchange
information and network

COMMITTEE reviews
and prepares the annual
budget for approval by
the Board of Directors
and monitors the
financial activities of
the Association. The

mission is to provide
the premier social event
bringing all BOMA
members together for
social interaction and
enjoyment. The

annual Golf Outing. The

The GOVERNMENT
AFFAIRS COMMITTEE
mission is to
identify issues that
impact the commercial
real estate industry and
influence the
decision-makers in our
government through
member awareness and
advocacy efforts. It

strategies on
legislative and
regulatory matters which
affect the office
building industry. The
Government Affairs
Committee meets
quarterly in Schaumburg.

people together to
accomplish common goals
through networking and
to promote participation
