Property Assistants Lunch (PAL): Soliciting HVAC Bids

  • October 25, 2017
  • 12:00 PM - 1:00 PM
  • BOMA Office, 1515 E. Woodfield Rd. Suite 110, Schaumburg, 60173

Heating, ventilation, and air conditioning is often one of the most difficult systems in a building to understand, which makes soliciting bids even more difficult for property management teams. Join us for the Property Assistants Lunch: Soliciting HVAC Bids to hear Jim Bartolotta, Executive Vice President, and Dan Flores, Sales Engineer, of Atomatic Mechanical Services, Inc., as they discuss what to consider when soliciting HVAC bids to ensure you receive the services that you need.

Attendees will learn items to consider when:

  • creating bid scope for HVAC replacement bids, including:
    • State and local IECC compliance
    • GFCI outlet requirements
  • soliciting HVAC maintenance bids, including:
    • Technician field experience
    • Documentation following maintenance inspections and/or service calls
  • soliciting bids for repairs, including:
    • Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) parts vs. aftermarket parts
    • Bulking multiple repairs to save money
  • choosing which companies you wish to solicit bids to, including:
    • Experience and expertise including training and certifications
    • Capability of handling single sourcing
  • and much, much more!
In addition, attendees are encouraged to bring any HVAC related questions or concerns to the lunch for discussion.
