February Engineers Lunch: FPB/VAV Operations and Maintenance

  • February 05, 2020
  • 11:30 AM - 1:30 PM
  • Kroeschell Service, 3222 North Kennicott Avenue, Arlington Heights, IL 60004

Brought to you by the Engineers Committee

When it comes to commercial properties, building engineers are tasked with various aspects of behind-the-scenes building operation and maintenance. One critical aspect of ensuring the proper functioning of a commercial building is the HVAC system, more importantly, the FPB (Fan Powered Box) and VAV (Variable Air Volume) units.

Since the building's overall HVAC system is vital to maintaining its temperature, air flow, ventilation, and air pressure, FPBs/VAVs are equipment that building engineers work on quite frequently. But there are times when these units malfunction and fail to work optimally, making the proper functioning of the building's overall HVAC systems quite challenging.

Join us for the February Engineers Lunch: FPB/VAV Operations and Maintenance to hear representatives from Air Products Equipment Company and Kroeschell, Inc. discuss the operation, maintenance, and troubleshooting problems related to FPB/VAV units.

Here's What's in Store:

  • VAV 101: basic terminal types, control options, and terminal unit components
  • Actual working FPBs to use for the training
  • Team of mechanical engineers for Q&A

With all the exciting action-packed lineup, you surely don't want to miss the February Engineers Lunch! Don't wait to register. Registration closes on Friday, January 31
