ABOUT OUR PRESENTERS:
Carlie Stogis, JLL
Carlie Stogis is currently a General Manager at Jones Lang LaSalle, overseeing a nearly 7 million square foot Class A Industrial portfolio for several institutional owners. Previous management experience includes Flex, Office, Retail, & Multi-Family properties.
She began her career at Lincoln Property Company as an Assistant Property Manager and managed an Industrial Portfolio of approximately 5 million Square Feet that included several Owners Associations at IDI Logistics.
At Colliers International, she was responsible for a diverse industrial portfolio of approximately 2 million square feet, consisting of 19 assets, throughout the greater Chicagoland Area.
Carlie is very active in BOMA International, assisting in the development and implantation of educational opportunities for members of the BOMA Suburban Chicago organization. She has been a member of the Industrial committee at the BOMA International level for over 10 years and has been a regular course instructor at the BOMA International Conference and EXPO on Industrial Property Management Restoration.
Tom Civitanova, First Industrial Realty Trust
Tom serves as Vice President of Operations for First Industrial Realty Trust's Central Region, where he oversees acquisitions, dispositions, developments, operations, property management, construction, leasing and capital expenditures for a 25 million square foot portfolio in Chicago, Dallas, Houston, Nashville, Atlanta, Miami and Orlando. He has more than 25 years of commercial real estate experience. He earned his Bachelor's Degree in Economics from Boston College and his Master's Degree in Facility Management from the University of Michigan. He secured his CPM designation in 2008 and his CCIM in 2017.
Maggie Amaya, JLL
Maggie oversees 7 million square feet of Industrial Properties and 15 Business Park Owners' Associations. Her current responsibilities include managing client relationships, retaining tenants, overseeing property conditions and supervising a two-member team and two building engineers. Responsibilities include Project Management where she oversees tenant improvements and capital improvement projects and delivers projects without going over budget.
Maggie has been in the Real Estate sector for nearly 29 years. She spent the majority of her career at IDI Gazeley where she oversaw the management of the Chicago Region's Industrial Portfolio totaling 10.8 million square feet which encompassed the Salt Lake City and Woodstock, Ontario markets. Ms. Amaya holds a Business Administration degree, Real Property Administration (RPA) and Facilities Management Administration (FMA) designations from the BOMI Institute. Ms. Amaya holds an Illinois Managing Broker's Real Estate License.
