In the field of property management, you have probably been asked countless times to issue a certificate of insurance for one reason or another. Did you ever question whether there was a legitimate need for a certificate? Are you confident that the language contained in a certificate was appropriate and accurately provided coverage while minimizing your risk?

If you've ever had any doubts about a certificate you've had to issue, you don't want to miss the Certificate of Insurance Training Course offered by BOMA/Suburban Chicago's Education Committee. In this course, Stacey Cizek,  Director of Insurance, at CenterPoint Properties will provide an overview of certificates of insurance including:

• The difference in protection between a certificate of liability and property insurance.
• What a certificate covers and what supplemental endorsements you should obtain to go along with the certificate.
• How to tell if all of the required coverage has been obtained by your tenants and contractors.
• Why "Waivers of Subrogation" are especially important for Worker's Compensation policies.

Fees: BOMA Members can attend this event for $25. Non-member property professionals can attend this event for $50. Non-member vendors will not be admitted.
